He got to replace his ball to its original spot.

And yes, I’ll forget about this week quickly as I missed the cut by a single stroke.

At +5

Disappointing round today. At +5 total; keeping my fingers crossed that the cut will go to that number, based on my experience its unlikely, probably going to be at +4.

Had my chances during the last four holes: only par from 35yds off the gren on #16; wedge from 98yds to 20ft (not close enough!) on #17 for another par and the. A third par on the par-5 18th after having only 172yds downwind on the second shot.

Just have to get sharper and score better.

Made the trip to Stockton on Thursday to work with Dr. Albaugh. We talked about routine, approach to practice and tournaments; goal setting and attitude. He is a wise man.

This is one tough lie.

Super foggy morning at Lake Merced. Fog is so dense it’s drizzling.

New sticks

Posted by on May 21st, 2013 in Golf

Received my new J40CB irons and wedges from Bridgestone a few weeks ago, and now they’re coming out for the first time! It’s just really nice with fresh clubs and fresh grooves. Also, trying out a new grip this time; it’s from a Company called Gripmaster and the grips are all leather, and tacky. So no more slipping or having to dry off the grips every minute in the severe humidity in Asia. It’s going to be awesome.
